Thank you for sharing and opening a "teenager only" event to parents. What if teenagers, who heard God's call in this message, come home to find their parent(s) heard it too? Could we maybe begin to blur the age division lines that our culture has set up regarding ministry? Instead of "the youth group" doing a "serving the poor" event, what if parents and teenagers work side by side as brothers and sisters in Christ not at events, but moving toward the vision God is calling them to? And what if churches served as resources to connect providers to needs? Is is possible for the paradigm that "it is not cool to hang with your parents" to be overcome? Is it possible for the paradigm that "teenagers are aliens" to be overcome? Is it possible God could call 40-somethings and teenagers to the same thing? Seems like guys named Matthew and Mark both wrote about a guy named Jesus saying all things are possible with God. Really? What if...
Thanks again for sharing with us on the outside.
