Fall - A New Season of Ministry

Fall is upon us! Most ministries enter a different rhythm and pace during the summer months, so not only does fall bring a change of season, but also a new season of ministry. This does not mean all ministry is new. Many ministries will remain the same but simply beginning afresh. Some ministries will be new.

As I begin this fall season of ministry I am excited for continuing ministries already in process, continuing a long obedience in the same direction (to use a phrase from Eugene Peterson), and also for beginning new ministries.

I am thankful for the joy of ministry at home, at the local church and at the EFCA, and I am humbled for the privilege of providing leadership in each of those important realms.

What about you? What excites you about beginning a new season of ministry?
