The Act of Restoration

When CrossPoint Community Church left its hometown of Lima, Ohio, and traveled north for a work project last summer, team members did more than wield hammers and rakes; they also built community with sister EFCA church plant Restore Church. Restore had purchased an old Post Office building in Detroit and needed help with renovation. So 11 members of CrossPoint offered their manpower but also their hearts. Here, CrossPoint members (and one neighborhood visitor) take a break from the summer heat.
