Building the Local Church
Emily Kullberg’s passion for missions has already taken her, at age 22, to Peru, Mongolia, Haiti and Togo.
Emily’s summer 2013 trip to Togo, West Africa, was financially supported as a missions internship with her church, Faith EFC of Fort Collins, Colo. She joined Pioneers Mission Movement* for 30 days of teaching English and computer skills and talking with villagers about her faith. Here, in the village of Keve, Emily is teaching these boys how to type during a computer class.
Faith EFC encourages its members to join Pioneers mission trips, because the organization shares the church’s emphasis: building, strengthening and equipping local churches. Faith EFC supports 16 different missionary units, serving with 10 different missionary organizations, and sends 150-175 members on short-term trips each year.
EFCA ReachGlobal also provides many missions opportunities for local churches.
