Extending ministries

Why Missions?

Watch three unique vantage points on Jesus' Great Commission

In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commands His followers to "go and make disciples of all nations." In Acts 1:8, Jesus tell them they "will be [His] witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

ReachGlobal has implemented a multi-faceted mission to connect with the diverse societies around the world.

Aligned with the EFCA mission to "glorify God by multiplying transformational churches among all people," EFCA ReachGlobal pursues these two commands of Christ.

ReachGlobal, the international missions arm of the EFCA, has implemented a multi-faceted mission to connect with the diverse societies around the world. Through a spectrum of ministry and service, ReachGlobal empowers disciples who make disciples in their own native context—partnering with local ministries to multiply churches, extend gospel ministries, and strengthen, revitalize and plant churches.

In the video below, you'll hear three unique stories of ReachGlobal missionaries in three unique locations around the world. From Southeast Asia to the United Kingdom, God is telling the same story of global transformation through the lens of multiple perspectives.

"[God] does desire to use us, but He doesn't have to. And so it's an invitation, to be a part of missions and ministry. It's a valuable invitation that we should take seriously, but also know that at the end of the day, it's not about us. It's about Christ and the gospel and the gospel transforming the rest of the world. We don't transform people. We don't save people. Christ does." — Julie, ReachGlobal missionary in Southeast Asia (from video, "Why Missions?")
