Voices of the EFCA: Reflecting on 2025

Carlton Harris and Scott Sterner reflect on meaningful highlights and initiatives from the past year.

This has been a significant year in the life of the EFCA.

In February, we saw a record-breaking Theology Conference—and inaugural Spanish Preconference—in Arlington Heights, Illinois. In June, we celebrated the 75th anniversary of our movement at EFCA One in West Des Moines, Iowa, and introduced a new tagline and movement-wide initiative. And that doesn't include the many in-between moments in EFCA districts, throughout local churches and across mission fields around the globe.

In light of these meaningful moments and events—as well as many others—I invited Scott Sterner, executive vice president of national ministries, to join me in reflecting back on how God moved in the EFCA in 2025—and look forward to what He might continue to do in 2026.

You can watch our full conversation (above) on YouTube and Vimeo. Merry Christmas, EFCA family.
