Maria Smith

Maria is the livelihood coordinator for SIM, a nonprofit organisation committed to enacting the love and compassion of Jesus Christ globally. SIM a Christian, nonprofit organisation committed to enacting the love and compassion of Jesus Christ all over the world and especially in places where he is unknown. 

When in the US, Maria lives in Illinois with her husband and Handwoven Products* volunteer Roman, who is the community engagement director for a local church in the Chicagoland area. She also mobilizes the church and those in her community to be a part of God’s work among the world’s poorest and least-reached people in this part of the world through telling the Handwoven Products* story and sharing the handcrafted products with them along with her project coordination responsibilities.
